If you could chop out the "Know your blood pressure" section straight out of your INDD and post that here, we could figure out exactly what formatting change is happening between "Y" and "ou, your carers." but without that, we can only guess. I have also noticed that earlier when I tried to replace it with new style it didnt make any change but now when I override the style the marker has gone. However, there are clearly formatting changes in the file you're dropping into Studio, as you say clearly here: These formatting changes that are causing your tagging problems are not present in the sample you gave us. I can drop this stuff into memoQ or Wordfast or any other translation tool capable of ingesting indd or idml, and I don't get this tagging problem, at least with the sample file you've provided. Here's a screenshot of the raw text in XML: However, if I export an IDML file and look at the stories in XML format, there just aren't any characters or formatting changes in the places where you're having formatting changes in Studio. When you are showing the Studio view, the contents of the tags show you that it's a formatting change. In the Olden Days, this is the kind of thing we'd fix in TagEditor, after ingesting the InDesign file but before sending off to the translator. For more details, see Working with Auto-Linked Adobe® InDesign® Documents. It's been quite some time since I have used any of SDL's products, but I am 100% confident that this is not an InDesign problem. In PromoMats and MedComms Vaults, Veeva Support can enable a feature that automatically creates documents for each component in your InDesign® package and links them to your source document through the Auto-Linked relationship type. Auto-Linked InDesign® Packages (PromoMats & MedComms) Upload the ZIP to Vault as a source file. Compress or archive the package folder to create a ZIP file. On your computer, navigate to the directory where you saved the InDesign® package. To do this, you must cancel, resolve issues, and then use the Package option again.Įnable the following settings in the Create Package Folder window: If needed, resolve any issues that appear in the Summary. If you use a different version, your steps may vary. The following instructions and images reflect Adobe® InDesign® CC 2017. If you don’t use this method, you may see font substitution or missing images in Vault. The package method ensures that graphics, linked materials, and fonts are available when you upload to Vault. It is important that you include all required data for InDesign® file handling in your InDesign® packages. Vault can also auto-generate viewable renditions from Adobe® Photoshop® (PSD), Illustrator® (AI), InDesign® (INDD) and Encapsulated PostScript® (EPS) files. To help ensure that InDesign® rendering is successful across InDesign® versions, your InDesign® Package should include an InDesign Markup Language (IDML) file. Note: You’ll receive a warning email from Vault if InDesign® detects missing fonts or outdated graphic links.
